Students’ report

The Erasmus experience in Hungary was amazing. The places we saw in Cronsgard and Szendes showed us a different reality from the one we see every day in Italy. Among the many things we have done, we solved some problems about the tutoring project, we played bowling, decorated some cookies and baked a typical dessert over the fire. All the activities were fun. The school in Crongard is also large and very beautiful. Then Budapest is gorgeous, it has wonderful buildings and the history is also interesting. We met some wonderful people and everybody were friendly.

It was an instructive and amazing experience that has to be redone.

Teachers’ report

We were welcomed in an extraordinary and amazing way, both students and children made all of us feel at home.

We had the opportunity to create friendly relationships, counting on our hosts’ sincere availability.

The activities planned in advance offered us the possibility to know Hungarian lifestyle, as well as their customs and traditions, in a familiar atmosphere which promoted reciprocal knowledge among the participants.

The trips were mainly dedicated to the beautiful landscapes and the food traditions of the country, more than to the cultural and historical aspects; even though we appreciated and enjoyed these experiences, this is quite unusual for Italian people.

Our approach to the Hungarian school system and methods was not so direct and detailed; teachers had only some moments to share information about the projects, while students had more and better opportunities.

Altogether, we believe this experience has been successful and useful.
